Legwork

A rush of air, seemingly from nowhere, unsettles the hay in a small stable near the center of the city of Gradsul. Then all is still once again.

"This looks like it", a disembodied voice speaks from seemingly nowhere.

"Yes, it looks like it. But this isn't Bubblewock's stable. You screwed up", replies another voice, dryly.

"I told you, there's no guarantee. If you say we're not on target, I'll trust your senses. But we shouldn't be far off. See if the path is clear outside."

No sound is heard, except for a grunt to the affirmative a little later, coming from the entrance.

Two elves suddenly materialize, and walk out of the stables and into the small alleyway and eventually onto the street. The first is a tall elf, garbed in fine clothes with a blue cloak trimmed in silver, who walks in long strides and smiles pleasantly at passerbys. The other is unlike the first in almost all ways, wearing leather armor over a simple grey tunic, and does his best to be unremarkable.

The two walk up to the nearest intersection. "I see Gerbel's place now. You can't mistake the gnome's shop".

"Nor his stable" quips Bladedric, dryly.

"Enough" Skye snaps. "Let's meet up again at this place at 7 bells past high noon. Take to the dock and the seedier places of Gradsul. Find out what you can about the power-brokers, and the fees that are owed to the shadows. I have full faith in our new associates, but it's always good to have a back-up. As opportunity presents itself, find out what goods they may need as well."

"And you?"

"I have much to do. I'll speak with the local merchants, and find out what is in demand. I need to setup agreements now for the shipment, as I have no wish to stay and sell the goods myself. With the blockade though I expect I'll find eager buyers, for whatever they may need. Two days should give us ample time to do this. But there is also the matter of finding a safe place to land the goods. Tomorrow I'll have you find a spot that is discreet."

Bladedric nods, and the two depart going their separate ways.
